PC women travel with aim of going up from 3rd in Big South
The two schools split the regular season series for two years before High Point knocked PC out of the Big South Conference Tournament, 75-62, last season. The Blue Hose put down High Point, 82-70, at the Templeton Center earlier this season.

SATURDAY SHOWDOWN
Presbyterian College takes to the road for a Big South Conference clash against High Point 2 p.m. Saturday at the Millis Center. The Blue Hose look to extend their winning streak to three and sweep the regular season series for the first time in school history. PC cruised past Longwood, 75-49, on Monday, while The Panthers fell to Liberty 43-56. The Blue Hose won six of their last seven games by an average of 18.3 points per game. High Point won four of its previous six by an average of six points.

THE BLUE HOSE
PC cruised past Longwood, 75-49, Monday night at the Templeton Center on an exceptional shooting night for the Blue Hose. PC shot 47.7 percent (27-of-57) shooting from the floor at 50.0 percent (14-of-28) behind the three point line, breaking the school record for most three’s made in a game.

Taylor Petty scored a career-high 26 points, one shy of teammate Cortney Storey’s school record, on six made three-pointers and pulled down a career-high five rebounds. Aianna Kelly recorded her first double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Kelly leads the Blue Hose averaging 12.2 points a game, while Allie Wagnerbrings in a team best 5.8 rebounds a contest.

THE PANTHERS
High Point fell to Liberty, 56-43, on Saturday after winning four of its last five games. Eight different Panthers scored in the game.

Lindsey Edwards led High Point with 10 points and four steals, while Haleigh Hatfield pulled down a team-best eight rebounds.

Kaylah Keys leads High Point averaging 13.8 points per game, while Hatfield brings in 5.2 rebounds a contest.

THE SERIES
High Point owns a 4-13 record in the all-time series between the two programs. The Panthers won the first 10 straight before the Blue Hose won a 71-69 nail biter inside the Templeton Center on February 23, 2013.
