Murray is 1st Team All-Big South, Inclan named to All-Academic Team
Murray has recorded seven double-doubles and has led the league and team in scoring for most of the season, ranking in the top 25 in the nation as well.

Murray Earns All-Conference Honors

 

The Big South Conference released its annual Men’s Basketball All-Conference honors, as voted on by league coaches and select media members, and Presbyterian College sophomore DeSean Murray (Stanley, N.C.) was selected First Team All-Conference, while Junior Charlie Inclan (Spartanburg) earned a spot on the All-Academic team.

Murray has led the team in scoring in 22 games this season and posted 17 20-point games and one 30-point game.  

In that game, which was against Longwood, Feb. 25, he posted 34, which is tied for second in PC’s Division I record book.  He recorded a PC record 14 free throws in that game as well. Murray has recorded seven double-doubles and has led the league and team in scoring for most of the season, ranking in the top 25 in the nation as well. Murray is third in the Big South in rebounds and tops in total points.

Inclan is a Spanish major and has played in seven career games, including two this season, against Toccoa Falls and Montreat.

The Blue Hose enter the Big South Tournament as the #10 seed and will open play in Buies Creek, N.C., against #7 Radford Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
