We have some upcoming local elections which will be decided by the citizens of Laurens county.
There will be two candidates on the ballot who can bring some necessary changes.
The first is William Weir for coroner. Mr. Weir is well qualified and committed to making the office of coroner more professional, well-trained, and compassionate. He believes that all citizens deserve to have a death fully investigated by the latest techniques. He would then give the family a full explanation and support they need.
The next is Don Reynolds for sheriff. Mr. Reynolds has worked in law enforcement for over 30 years. According to the state statistics, Laurens County has a high rate of crime and drugs. It is time for a change led by a man who has not been a part of this current administration. He has the commitment and integrity and qualifications to be a sheriff that will serve to protect every citizen of Laurens county and make it a safer place for all to work, live, and raise our children.
