Spring means softball

PC women take a 9-5 win over visting SC State

On a perfect spring day for playing softball, the Presbyterian College women earned their first home win of the season today, 9-5, over visting South Carolina State. First baseman Blaire Miller paced the Blue Hose attack with 3 RBIs including a 2-run homer. Megan Anderson added 2 hits and a RBI.

Katie Brown took the win in the circle, in a relief appearance.

PC softball has won 3 consecutive games, and this weekend travels to UNC-Wilmington for a series. Blue Hose softball (10-8) plays again on the home diamond off Maple Street in Clinton on March 16, March 19, March 23, and April 9-10.
