Break out the sticks

Presbyterian College lacrosse won its season-opener Saturday against Delaware State, 20-11, as the men's basketball team lost to Campbell and men's tennis fell to the College of Charleston.
In lacrosse, Cady Roberts and Claire Frase scored 4 goals each. Goalie Sophie Cuzzupe netted 7 saves, and Lee-Ann Salim recorded 1 save. PC started with 4 straight goals, and outshot the visitors, 55-22. The next lacrosse match is at home Feb. 21 against Cincinnati.
In men's basketball, DeSean Murray scored 20 points - 18 in the 1st half, his 16th 20-point game of the season - but it wasn't enough for the Blue Hose in a 91-61 home loss to Campbell. The Camels had a 28-7 run to start the 2nd half. PC men fell to 8-17 on the season, 3-11 in the Big South.
In men's tennis, Diego Manzanas won for the Blue Hose at #3 singles, 4-6, 7-6, 10-7, but the Blue Hose lost on the Templeton Courts, 6-1, to visting College of Charleston.
