Strong Armed Robbery Attempt in Parking Lot Is Alleged
Monday, January 1, 2018 (WLBG.com): Clinton Public Safety arrested two of three suspects Friday from an alleged Strong Armed Robbery attempt outside a grocery store.
From alleged incidents at three places in town Friday, 18-year-old Sincere Traveon Hunt, of 103 Stratford Place, Clinton, was charged with Attempted Strong Armed Robbery, Pointing and Presenting a Weapon and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
Sgt. Mercer states that on December 29th, Mr. Hunt attempted a Strong Armed Robbery by presenting a handgun to the victim and ordering him to give him all his belongings. This reportedly occurred with two co-defendants in the Ingle’s parking lot on Jacobs Highway in Clinton.
Sincere Hunt also allegedly pointed and presented a firearm at four victims on East Maple Street, Friday. One of these was the same victim from the alleged incident in the Ingle’s parking lot. Hunt was also accused of having a quantity of green leafy material identified as marijuana Friday on Pine Street in the Lydia Mill area of Clinton.
Hunt was released Saturday on cash or surety bonds of $31,000 on the Strong Armed Robbery and Weapons charges. A $628 PR bond was set on the Simple Possession charge.
A female suspect was arrested by Clinton Public Safety Friday. 19-year-old Tyteatris Bresha Longshore of 671 Poplar Spring Road, Chappells, is facing a charge of Attempted Strong Armed Robbery.
Sgt. Mercer states that on December 29th, the defendant was part of an Attempted Strong Armed Robbery, by being in a vehicle while Sincere Hunt presented a firearm to the victim and ordered him to give him all his belongings. Tyteatris Bresha Longshore was released Saturday on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
A third suspect in the incident in the Ingle’s parking lot had not been booked, according to jail records.
